My Everyday Skincare Routine: The Morning

Everyday Skincare Routine Liz Earl Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Review
I was all about the makeup until a few months ago and now I find myself equally obsessed with skincare. It’s so important when you really think about it. We have our skin for our whole lives and I think you can tell when someone took care of their skin in their youth. Also, you can have the best makeup products in the land but if you’re applying them over dry and damaged skin you just won’t get  that lovely finish that we all crave.
I have a lot of products now, so much so that it’s a bit impossible to cart them around with me when I’m on the move. I decided to break up my posts because there is a lot to get through and also my routine in the morning is a bit different from my night one (oh, the suspense!)
My first go-to in the morning is Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, yes that cult product. I was introduced to Liz Earle over four years ago and we’ve had a bit of an on/off relationship, although I’m not really sure why because it’s amazing. I think it’s mainly to do with Liz Earl being a little difficult to purchase in Ireland. I got gifted a Liz Earle set at Christmas and hand on heart I will not give this up again. I’ve found that it has really improved my skin in texture and I swear my skin has a lovely glow now. And did I mention how amazing it smells? It makes me that little bit happier in the morning. I like to use Liz Earle’s Instant Boost Skin Tonic after the Cleanse & Polish, once again for its lovely smell if nothing else. Next up is Origins GinZing Eye Cream. I’m very sensitive around the eyes and a lot of brands just haven’t agreed with me. I love this one because not only is it gentle it has evened out the small annoying bumps that I used to have under my eyes and lightened any darkness. My Estée Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher was a bit of a splurge but I love it. It’s a perfect primer. It gives me a lovely smooth finish that looks just dreamy with a tiny bit of foundation over it. Since I’ve started using it I’ve found that I’ve cut down on the amount of foundation that I use because I just don’t need it. And finally I finish with Origins GinZing Energy-boosting Moisturizer. I love this so much that I have a second tub waiting to be used. I will forever repurchase this. I think that a really good moisturizer is essential to great skin, everything else comes after it. So, if there was one product from this post that I would advise investing in it would be the GinZing Energy-boosting Moisturizer.
Stay tuned for my night time routine!
